His work tends to have religious undertones, focusing on the artist’s fascination with religious imagery and icons, whether Christian, Islamic or pagan. His images tend to appear archaic, utilizing ‘traditional’ elements, such triptychs, carved wood, flattened perspective, verticality & gold leaf… But employs them in a way reminiscent of Dada collages than the precision of religious iconography.
His works can be found in the collections of many museums not only in the Middle East, but in Washington and Moscow as well.
