The Dazzle and Aesthetics of Vision..
Artistic trends and different artistic expressions normally emerge in response to crises and social unrest protesting against the ugliness of modern human civilization, including the ensuing wars and conflicts that give way to the voice of the artistic vanguard who represent the spirit of expressionist criticism which is interested in the human fate, and all the transformations of human thought under the pressure and dominance of globalization, the values ??of physical consumption, and all that which reflects the dramatic apparitions in the creations of artists.
Tajalliyat Art Gallery–Beirut is honored to present the artworks of the artist Talal Moualla; who best represents in his paintings the relationship between the visual rhythm and the frequencies of contemporary civilization and all that is reflected in the style of an artist who interacts with the current humanitarian issues believing that the human is the center of life, and that his consciousness is the center of all transformations. Between the face and the body, these sharp reflections of the daily anxiety experienced by the human, and the ??ideas that Moualla seeks to encode are all an intensification of the contradictions of the self on the one hand, and its aspirations for salvation on the other hand, in bold relentless attempts to show the ugliness across his color compositions which prompt the artwork to live in a state of evolution with its recipients. This is an interactive value emphasized by the artist in most of his exhibitions, including this present exhibition which can be interpreted in many ways, including its distortionary use of the human as a mean of an expressive and dramatic escalation that exposes the true nature of the human soul.
Previously, silence was the dominant title of his exhibitions; through which he presented his concerns about the burst of human horrors, and this allows us to call him a catalyst of the function of art, highlighting its social value which condemns the various forces that hinder the creative pursuit of human imagination in exploring the full self of creativity and free soaring.
The aesthetics of Talal Moualla and his artworks; some of which acquired in worldwide museums, are marked with a glimpse of hope which enhances the value of his artworks and expresses his aspiration for a violence-free future.
